Job description

As a Mechanic at the Owensboro Riverport, you will be responsible for maintaining the equipment used in the operation of the Riverport. The equipment includes cranes, dozers, loaders, 5K – 52K forklifts, light wheel vehicles, etc. The mechanic performs preventative maintenance as well and repair. A strong candidate will have a mechanical background in Gas, Diesel and Propane engine repair.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Document/record/retain work needed and performed electronically on computer-based maintenance system.

Assist with facility maintenance when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Experience:
