The Owensboro Riverport has an immediate opening for a qualified Forklift Operator. One-year experience of operating a motor-powered forklift. Applicant must be able to work some Saturdays and extended hours as needed and have reliable transportation. Hours:                       Days with flexibility due to need for overtime

Compensation:      Hourly Non-Exempt

Responsibilities:    Loading and unloading customer product;  Inventory customer products; Process accurate paperwork; Ensures correct product to be loaded/unloaded; Facility maintenance/cleaning and equipment cleaning; Inventory positioning/re-positioning

Qualifications:        Proper operation of forklift – 5,000# to 52,000# and attachments;  Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure; Time management; Knowledge of basic data entry with precision on number sequence; Good housekeeping skills

Education:              High School Diploma / GED
