Directions to Owensboro Riverport

Harbor Road Terminal

via the Audubon Parkway, William Natcher Parkway, U.S. Highway 431 or U.S. Highway 231 (North):

When arriving in Owensboro, proceed westbound on the U.S. 60 Bypass (Wendell Ford Expressway). As U.S. 60 Bypass ends on the northwest side of Owensboro -- ramp off to the right onto U.S. Highway 60 heading eastbound following signs for downtown area. At first traffic signal, turn left onto Industrial Drive (KY Highway 331). Radio towers and satellite dishes highlight the Adelphia Cable/Communications building located at this intersection. Follow Industrial Drive approximately one and a half (1 1/2) miles through an industrial park, an "S" curve, and over a small hill. Industrial Drive becomes River Road as you travel through the “S” curve.

Gate 1, located at Harbor Road, leads directly to the Harbor Road Terminal and the Security Office. Nearly all shipments involving metals, bulk products, grain, and heavy lift project cargo are handled via this entrance.

Gate 2 leads directly to the Office area and Visitor Parking area. The Management Staff and Administrative Team members are located in the office area of Warehouse # 4. Handicapped parking spaces are available near the front entrance.

Gate 3 leads directly to Warehouses 5, 6, & 7. This gate will be located on your left while traveling northbound on River Road. These warehouses are located on the west side of River Road.

Gate 4, located at Rinaldo Road, is the primary entrance for trucks handling paper products to and/or from the Riverport. Also, the entrance serves as the primary entry to the Bunge/Miles grain operation located adjacent to Owensboro Riverport

via U.S. Highway 231 (Southbound from Rockport, Indiana):

**Note: Route was formed in October 2002 with the opening of the Natcher Bridge over the Ohio River.

Cross the Natcher Bridge over the Ohio River. At traffic signal, proceed westbound on U.S. Highway 60 towards Owensboro. Proceed approximately seven (7) miles--turn left on Wendell Ford Expressway (U.S. 60 Bypass). As U.S. 60 Bypass ends on the northwest side of Owensboro -- ramp off to the right onto U.S. Highway 60 heading eastbound and following signs for downtown area. At first traffic signal, turn left onto Industrial Drive (KY Highway 331). Radio towers and satellite dishes highlight the Adelphia Cable/Communications building located at this intersection. via Indiana Highway 161 (Southbound from Reo, Indiana):

** Note: Route was formerly U.S. Highway 231 prior to opening of Natcher Bridge over the Ohio River in October 2002.

Cross the Glover Cary Bridge over the Ohio River into downtown Owensboro. While following signs for the U.S. 60 West Truck route, proceed forward from the bridge onto J.R. Miller Boulevard. Go two (2) blocks to 5th Street. Turn right and proceed four (4) blocks to Frederica Street (U.S. Highway 431). Turn right onto Frederica Street (heading back towards the Ohio River) and proceed three (3) blocks to 2nd Street (U.S. Highway 60). Turn left onto this one-way westbound street and travel approximately two (2) miles.

After passing Ramada Inn hotel, the road reconvenes into a four-lane highway. At first traffic signal, turn right onto Industrial Drive (KY Highway 331). Radio towers and satellite dishes highlight the Adelphia Cable/Communications building located at this intersection.
